I can't believe I did it again. The second that paycheck hit my account, I saw her post online, some new bag she wanted, a little hint about how happy it would make her. And like the pathetic simp I am, I sent it. Every last dollar. All of it. It felt good at the time. That rush of making her happy, seeing my name pop up in her DMs with a "good boy" or a heart emoji. But now... now the cupboards are empty. I had some ramen left, but that ran out days ago. I'm really hungry. I finally broke down and messaged her. Told her I was desperate, that I needed to eat, begged her to send just a little back, anything so I could buy some food. She didn’t even get mad. She just sounded… disappointed. She said she understood where I was coming from, but that money was hers now, I gave it to her fair and square. She earned it. Then she told me about dog food. Said it's cheap and humans can eat it too if they're really that desperate. Maybe I could afford that instead. So here I am… staring at this dog food, about to start eating, I'm so fucking hungry. It smells awful...
